Is Marijuana Dangerous for You?

Well, now that depends on who "you" are. After all, peanuts are dangerous to some people. Has even killed a few. So, If you are considering partaking in marijuana, the best thing to determine is .. do you have any serious allergies? However please note that there have been MORE deaths from peanuts in any given year than ALL the deaths from marijuana ingestion in the whole world for all history.
However, past that, there is yet another more important question to ponder.
WHY does it matter? Fast cars are dangerous, not only to the driver, but also to many around where he drives. Dangerous to others...and yet, America has a love affair with vehicles that can travel twice as fast as any posted speed limit in the country.
Hand guns are dangerous. In fact, they were designed to be dangerous. To get in close and kill without too much effort. According to wikipedia, there were 52,447 deliberate and 23,237 accidental non-fatal gunshot injuries in the United States during 2000. The majority of gun related deaths in the United States are suicides, with 17,352 of the total 31,224 firearm-related deaths in 2007 due to suicide, while 12,632 were homocide deaths. In 2009, according to the UNODC, 60% of all homocides in the United States were perpetuated using a firearm. (1)

Alcohol is also dangerous. It directly kills around 65,000 Americans yearly due to its consumption.

Second place for "dangerous is heart attacks and system failures due to poor diet and sedentary lifestyle. It sounds for all the world like McGreasies for breakfast, lunch and take home dinner and sitting on a fat couch watching teevee all night. Of course, here, the cure for the danger would be calisthenics at dawn, safe, healthy foods, and early to bed/early to rise. Out of morbid curiosity, do you think that could even be considered?

Topping the bill for "dangerous" is the President's choice of poisons, and boy oh boy, did he pick the cream of the crop.
Tobacco directly kills over 400,000 Americans yearly (that 54 an hour) and that sounds like maybe they should just buy a gun and get it over with quick, because tobacco leaves a long trail of tears. For example, every cigarette consumed creates the chemical equivalency of ten cans of soda pop. what that boils down to is, renal failure will set in LONG before cancer actually gets a grip.

And where does marijuana fit in here?
Dangerous? No deaths by overdose because one has to ingest around 1500 pounds in fifteen minutes to actually overdose.
Gateway drug? Again, no. As it turns out, many have used marijuana to kick their habits and addictions to other substances such as heroin, speed, alcohol, and tobacco. (absolutely NO help in getting people to stop going to restaurants that are McPoisoning them, though) Sugar, soda pops, and coffee are more than efficient gateways, and alcohol is an addiction that is hard. And tobacco is THE most addictive drug, most dangerous drug, and most harmful to others around the smoker than any other substance known to man.

So, is marijuana dangerous?
Well...did you know that there is a direct connection of chemistry of marijuana as Mother's Milk?
